Notes
What a fine model this is – produced during Dinky’s heyday!
Issued between 1958-61, this classic Dinky car has a pale grey lower body with a bright mid-blue roof and boot, blue hubs. It looks as if this car has spent most of its 45 years or so in its box:
Certainly there are none of the usual signs of play or handling wear. A couple of the faintest dots on the roof – but otherwise hard to find fault!
The box is clean and complete, with the correct colour spot at the end flaps. It seems the original owner wrote the date he acquired this car on one non-picture side (November 1959). ‘65’ has been written on one end flap and there is a little grubbiness to the box base.
