Corgi 228
Corgi 228 Volvo P.1800. RARE SALMON PINK issue. Very, very near mint/boxed. From The Mayfair Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1962-65 in a variety of colour finishes, this salmon pink finish being the most difficult to find. After 1965, this car became the Saint’s Volvo (renumbered Corgi 258).
This example is in all original, virtually mint condition with a lemon interior and original silver detailing at the raised body lines and bumpers. Suspension on shiny shaped spun hubs and the supple original tyres are well-shaped.
Displays well in this distinctive colour finish.
The box is complete and bright with a crisp feel. Lightest wear.
