Dinky 533
Dinky 533 Leyland Cement Wagon "Ferrocrete". Very near mint/boxed, with card packing piece &. Export Hudson Dobson Label. From The Phillips Collection.
Notes
Issued for a short period between 1953-54 under this numbering, this example has a vivid deep yellow, all original paint finish. The circular detailed “Blue Circle Portland Cement” transfers are complete on both sides. Tiny dots to the ‘FERROCRETE’ letters at the sides.
Hard to find in this very close to mint condition – nearly always found with later touch-ins (this example is in authentic condition throughout).
Small casting mark on the bed and that’s about it!
The blue box with a picture label is complete and bright with a strongly-coloured paper label. Strongly-coloured deep blue box presents well.
Very light wear. Numbers (300 and 933) are faintly visible at a short lid end. Complete export label at a lid side has some lower edge wear. Nice to see the original card packing piece is still present. Shiny staples too!
