Notes
A scarce set. Issued between 1959-63, it comprises:
i) 350 Thunderbird Missile in silver with a red nose cone, on Trailer (RAF Blue finish with black plastic swivelling wheels, black plastic tow ring and metal clips to hold the missile in place). Close to mint with the occasional mark at some exposed edges.
ii) 351 Land Rover in RAF Blue finish with a tin tilt, flat spun wheels (shiny), tow hook, well-shaped original tyres and spare on the bonnet. Outstanding lustre. So close to mint. Shiny base.
Slim outer box is complete, clean and brightly-coloured. Hard to find this good. A little wear mostly to the tuck-on part of one large end flap. Note the printed instructions on all small end flaps. Comes complete with the original card packing sleeve.
Early ‘Moorgate’ Corgi Club Membership Form is included too.
