Notes
This Hillman Hunter ‘London To Sydney’ Marathon Winner has a close to mint paint finish and a wealth of detail. Version with silver Golden Jacks.
Complete, with intact labels (a little age transparency now), and the original kangaroo figure.
Opening suitcase on the roof of the car, two spare wheels and a spotlight.
Few little marks to the paint finish.
This example comes complete with the Transfer Instruction Leaflet which also incorporates a Corgi Club Membership Form. Sone of the transfers have been applied to the car the rest remain on the sheet:
Inner box is clean, bright and fresh and has the original kangaroo in place!
2nd issue outer box is brightly-coloured and clean. Light wear and note that the cellophane is original , although there is a small hole and a puncture. This is the 2nd issue box, so unlike the earlier issue, it does not have the Corgi number printed on the box face. Note too that the printed text in the red box on box top is slightly different and box underside is free of the black printed details. Box reverse has ‘Playcraft Toys’ printed rather than ‘Mettoy Playcraft’ printed. There may be other differences too!
The Hillman Hunter Rally Car was issued between 1969-72.
