Notes
Very scarce model – and the only example we ever seen! This early Corgi Rover model is in all original condition with a deep maroon finish, and flat spun hubs.
Made in 1956.
In good condition with usual wear to paint finish. Note that the windows on this early issue are not really transparent. Corgi soon changed that!
Note too the early tin baseplate with rear axle situated above. (Compare to Corgi 200 Consul on our website which has both axles located beneath the baseplate).
Original (and vibrantly-coloured) box has a crisp feel. Small area of surface loss on one box face and a fleck of surface loss on an end flap. Very light wear besides.
