Corgi 249
Corgi 249 Morris Mini-Cooper 'Wickerwork'. Spun wheels. Early casting without horizontal front wing casting line. Very, very near mint/boxed. Fresh box! From The Fenman Collection.
Notes
A popular Corgi model of this much-loved little car with a smart bright red and black finish and complete distinctive ‘wickerwork’ panelling at both sides and at the rear. Sparkling jewelled headlights and suspension on spun wheels. Issued between 1965-69.
Finely-treaded original tyres are well-shaped.
Very small casting mark on the roof – and that’s about it!
Obviously barely handled – all the delicate wickerwork panelling is intact.
The pictorial box is complete, clean fresh and bright. Very crisp, showing minimal handling.
