Notes
One of the sought-after Batman Gift Sets, this version (copyright 1976) is presented in the colourful header-card window box.
The set comprises:
1) Batmobile – fixed gold tow hook version and both seated figures of Batman and Robin. Bright and original gloss finish, fully functioning and complete with aerial, intact very pale blue screens. Bright bat labels. Suspension is fine on all four shiny wheels. Looks as-new! Virtually mint condition!
2) Batboat is the correct later version with plastic fin. Intact blue screens and bright chrome cockpit. Very bright paper labels including the bat labels on the fin. Gold trailer has Whizzwheels. Light (probably factory assembly) scratch beneath the windscreen.
Included – Full sprue of original yellow missiles.
Both items are housed in the original and intact polystyrene inner which is clean and fresh.
Crisp, colourful and complete outer box has larger print ‘For ages 3 years & over’. Intact original cellophane. Very minor age/handling wear.
Operating Instructions on this late issue were printed on the underside of the outer box.
