Notes
Now here’s a rare Dinky commercial – so often missing from even the most extensive Dinky collections! The last version to be made for a short time in 1964, this truck has a deep blue cab and chassis with a light yellow band around the cab, light yellow back (rivetted) and red plastic wheels.
We stress that this is an original item throughout. So often, these high profile Dinky commercials are found with touch-ins. It is refreshing to see one in honest condition.
And with such a pleasing gloss to the finish too.
Shiny metal parts and that includes the axle ends and rivet. Note that this model never had a spare wheel fitted on the underside.
A few small marks to the paint finish.
The Supertoys box (with italicised print) is clean, bright and and fresh, showing no corner edge rubbing to the lid. Base is exceptionally fresh. Nice to see the little card packing piece still present too.
A high profile, sought-after Dinky commercial truck in close to perfect condition!
