Corgi 200
Original Chassis Drawing for the Corgi Ford Consul (1956). Included in The Great Book of Corgi. Drawn by Marcel Van Cleemput, Chief Designer for Corgi (signed). From The Old School Collection.
Notes
Sone wear and tear has occurred over the years since the drawing for the first Corgi toy was made during 1956! This chassis drawing is given full page prominence in The Great Book of Corgi (page 29).
Signed by Marcel Van Cleemput, Chief Designer for Corgi.
Hand-written and printed detailing the inclusion in The Great Book of Corgi.
Tape wear and edges in some places are incomplete. The paper is frail now and does not appear to have been unfolded for a long time (reluctant to do this in case further damage is caused).
A precious survivor from the earliest Corgi period. If ever there was a piece suitable for a Corgi museum then this surely is a worthy contender.
