Dinky 52A
Dinky 52A Cunard White Star "Queen Mary". Near mint plus/boxed. Pre-war with red rollers from The Phillips Collection.
Notes
A superb example of this early Dinky ship, in complete and original condition throughout. The model itself has an excellent paint finish with brightly coloured funnels and both masts. Red plastic rollers. A little minor rubbing to the ship and minor fatigue mainly to the bow.
It is beautifully presented in a colourful insert displaying a New York scene (minor wear caused by contact with the model). This inner is bright and fresh with good strong colours.
The outer box is very fresh – particularly bearing in mind that it was issued between 1935-41.
Very minor wear. On the inside of the lid, there are printed lots of interesting facts about this liner; fresh-looking print that is easily read.
