Notes
Acknowledged in ‘The Great Book Of Dinky Toys’, this collector in the U.S. brings his 37 year collection to QDT. Included are some very rare items and a wealth of period literature and catalogues.
Issued between 1961-67, this fine Dinky commercial truck is in all original condition with a bright red cab, red plastic hubs and a fawn back.
Complete, delicate transfers on both cab sides. Tiny wear to just one of the rear transfers.
The rear opening doors on these models are prone to damage. Both doors are closed firmly and we are reluctant to force to open.
Usual chipping at the point where the trailer attaches to the base of the tractor unit. Couple of tiny marks besides.
The striped Dinky Supertoys box (with large italicised/sloping print) is bright and complete with no splits. Very light wear. Deep blue, unfaded lower half of the box too.
