Dinky 430
Dinky 25X/430 Breakdown Lorry. Very, very near mint/boxed. Rich mid-tan and mid-green. Early issue without glazing. U.S. Export Label. From The Cologne Collection.
Notes
There were lots of colour versions of this popular Dinky toy!
This version has a rich mid-tan cab, mid green back, red hubs, black lettering. An all original example – complete with a working tow hook. “DINKY SERVICE” lettering is complete on both sides (except for a tiny probably as-made mark on one letter on one side).
Virtually mint condition, unused example with vibrant colours and a rich lustre.
Shiny base and metal parts. Well-shaped smooth original tyres.
The blue and white striped ‘DINKY TOYS’ picture box is clean, bright and fresh. Dual-numbering at a lid end marks this change which occurred in 1954. U.S. Export label is really close to perfect (tiny mark). Box base is a vibrant blue throughout. Tiny part puncture has pressed back in to place. A little shelf rubbing on the box base underside. Shiny staples.
Period price is pencilled at a lid end.
