Dinky 465
Dinky 465 Morris Commercial Van "CAPSTAN". Very near mint/boxed. From the personal collection of a professional TV & Film Set Designer.
Notes
Issued during 1959 only, this is one of the harder-to-find advertising vans made by Dinky during this period. This Morris van has a pleasing original finish in two-tone blue with mid-blue wheels. The distinctive “Have a Capstan” transfers are complete on one side, tiny nick to the other side.
Bright base and the smooth original tyres are well-shaped.
Very minor wheel arch rub.
The pictorial card box is complete, clean and brightly-coloured. Minor age wear includes a little end flap ruffling/wear, light creasing and a couple of minor storage indentations on one face.
