Notes
Issued between 1971-75, this is the early version with all those features, missing from the later issues: i.e. coiled spring suspension, wheels with rubber tyres, and jewelled headlights.
Early box too!
With one owner from new, this truck has a fresh bright red and yellow finish, red interior. Intact wing mirrors with reflective pieces still in place, and a plastic, olive green, detachable canopy, grey plastic tow hook. A few small chips only on the edge of the truck back.
The box is superb – very bright, clean and crisp with strong vivid colours.
Small puncture to the original cellophane and a shopkeeper’s faintly pencilled price of 10/6.
