Dinky 930
Dinky 930 Bedford Pallet Jekta Van. Very near mint/boxed. With three pallets. From a most knowledgeable and enthusiastic collector in South London.
Notes
Every Dinky commercial collection should have one of these! Issued between 1960 -64, this Bedford model has a shining two tone yellow and orange paint finish. Bright baseplate and notably perfect ‘Dinky Toys’ and ‘Meccano’ lettering throughout. Includes the three removable plastic pallets.
Couple of little chips where you would expect i.e. at the rear door area etc., and upon close inspection there are a couple of little (factory) touch-ins too (really hard to notice).
The mechanism works well when the handle is turned, moving the sliding interior platforms so that goods (in this case pallets) may be loaded and unloaded more easily. Winding handle is shiny.
The striped SUPERTOYS outer box lis bright and complete. Carefully repaired puncture ( caused by the winding handle at some time). Barely any wear besides – especially noteworthy is the vibrant deep blue lower half of the box which is virtually mint.
