Dinky 936
Dinky 936 Leyland 8-Wheeled Chassis. Very near mint/boxed. With RED Prop-shaft. Nice box! From The Reference Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1964-69, this unusual Dinky truck comes complete with all three removable ballast weights, the red prop shafts on the underside rotate when the truck is moving along – just like the real thing! The weights are nearly always quite heavily chipped and they also tend to mark the silver chassis. This example has fared much better than most! Bright and complete “Leyland On Test” paper labels on the cab. Complete with driver and steering wheel. Complete paper label ‘ON TEST’ at the rear too. Tyres are fine, clean and well-shaped.
Barely mark to the paint.
The colourful and detailed pictorial box is complete, clean and bright. No splits or repairs. Crease on the underside. Period price.
