Notes
First issued during 1968, we surmise this is the early box presentation with mechanic detail at cellophane side edge. Model is finished in a lustrous metallic maroon finish with a white interior. Opening doors and bonnet, sliding seats, steering wheel and Golden Golden Jacks wheels. Perfect ‘MINI MARCOS’ transfers at the sides.
Tiny mark or two away from mint.
The cellophane-fronted window box is strongly-coloured and complete with intact cellophane front. Note the card is shaped at box front to include image of mechanic.
No header card crease on box reverse where it joins the main body of the box. Intact card inner. Close to shop-fresh example.
