Corgi 262
Corgi 262 Lincoln Continental Executive Limousine. Near mint plus/boxed. Scarce BLUE AND FAWN version! With 5 pictures for the onboard t.v. on strip & Corgi Instructions/Club Membership Form. 2 card packing pieces. From The 25 Year Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1967-69, this prestigious American car comes in the more unusual finish – pale blue with a fawn roof. Opening boot bonnet and doors. Lots of nice details on this car which even has plush deep blue carpet! Does not appear to have been handled or played with but there are a few very small marks on the roof.
Underneath, the car has a battery casement so that the onboard t.v. set can be used (untested). It comes with the 5 little picture cards for the t.v set on a strip.
Note the* 2 card packing pieces* that are still present – nearly always discarded.
Suspension is fine on all four wheels. Chrome plating which is so often found badly flaking has a couple of tiny rubs only.
The car sits on a complete and bright card plinth. Light edge ‘bulge’ in one small area. No wheel slot tears.
The delicate blister style outer box is complete and has an intact blister. Unpunched header card. Bright colours. Very close to mint condition. Front lower edge has the tiniest wear. Note the period price label.
