Not an easy model to find! This large Dinky excavator model was issued between 1963-67. The model has a primrose yellow plastic body with red and green metal parts. Complete ‘Ruston Bucyrus’ labels on both sides. A few little chips on the jib/bucket and a couple on the edge of the red platform on the sides. Bright and shiny metal parts.Notably complete with intact original tracks.
The distinctive sturdy card Dinky Supertoys box is bright, clean and complete looking fresh.
Very light wear. Remains of the old tape that kept the lid closed. Card inner packing piece still present along with the Dinky Quality Control Tag:
Also present is the colourful paper over-sleeve (usually missing). Colours are vibrant, although understandably, there are a few end curls and small tears. Area of ‘foxing’ too.
