Dinky 465
Dinky 465 Morris Commercial Van "CAPSTAN". Very near mint/boxed. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
Issued during 1959 only, this is one of the harder-to-find advertising vans made by Dinky during this period. This Morris van has an original two-tone blue paint finish with mid-blue wheels. In all original, superb condition with the distinctive “Have a Capstan” transfers on both sides.
Small nick to one letter on one side.
Outstanding lustre. Small area above one rear wheel arch where the paint was applied a touch thinly. Note that one of the smooth original tyres is slightly malformed (easily overlooked).
The pictorial card box is clean with bright colours and a crisp feel to the card. Crease on the underside. Minor wear besides.
