Spot-on 404
Spot-on 404 Morris Minivan. Very, very near mint/boxed. Scarce - and the best example we have seen! From the 'Exclusively Mini' Collection. Bids are invited - please see the relevant section on our Faq Page. QDT starting bid £450. Please note that QDT apply 10% buyer's commission, with a ceiling of £100.
Notes
A difficult model to find (issued 1966). Vivid yellow Morris Mini van does not appear to have ever been removed from its plinth. In virtually mint condition, securely fastened to the inner by means of the original fixings. Shaped spun wheels are shiny.
In virtually mint condition (just a small portion of the front numberplate is missing).
Please note however, that suspension is no longer present on the wheels – this is due to the fact that the model has been firmly attached to the card plinth since the date of issue, we surmise.
Silver plastic ladder is still present, along with the figure.
Complete, bright and fresh-looking yellow card inner with background scene:
Outer card and cellophane box is complete clean and bright.
Note the tiny original cellophane puncture. Light handling wear to the card nearly all confined to the end flaps. Penned writing on the box underside.
