Notes

This enchanting pre-war 3 part set comprises:

1) 35a Saloon Car. Pre-1941 issue. Most attractive sky blue finish with deeper shade at the rear. Near mint. Silver trim. Original white rubber wheels are intact and well-shaped. A few tiny marks to the paint finish and rubbing at a rear wheel arch edge.

2) 35b Racer in cobalt blue with silver trim. Early black rubber wheels. 1941 issue. Original early rubber tyres have retained their shape. Correct that this early issue has no driver. A little corrosion mostly to the seat back driver’ side. A few very small chips. Excellent plus.

3) 35c MG Sports Car, in silver with red trim. Original early rubber tyres have retained their shape. 1941 issue. A little corrosion (very minor). Near mint plus.

The distinctive card box is a real find in this condition. Vibrant colours and an intact scenic backdrop for the models. Card is sound and showing just minor grubbiness and a couple of small stains. Notably complete with all parts intact – including the small side flaps.
