Dinky 966
Dinky 966 Marrel Multi-Bucket Unit. Very near mint/boxed. From The Cumbrian Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1960-64, this Albion model has a pale yellow finish with a detachable grey skip. One of the nicest examples you will see – so difficult to find in perfect condition, largely due to the design of the model with moving metal parts. Hard t find a mark to the paint finish:
Bright baseplate and metal parts generally, although note there is minor tarnishing to the metal bar.
The striped Supertoy box is complete and bright with light surface grubbiness. Shiny staples. Couple of small areas of surface loss due to price label removal. Label residue on one side of the lid.
Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this particular example from 1962.
A fine unused example that has spent most of its 45 years tucked away in its box.
