Notes
An early transition model from 932 in this early striped 418 box (yellow box later).
A fine glowing example with a superb sheen to the all original two tone blue finish. Usually found with a violet blue cab and chassis. Barely a mark on this model:
Bright fresh baseplate too:
Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this model 1956, the first year that 418 was used.
The box is clean and bright with no splits:
although there is some rusting at the staples.
Rarely seen in this condition!
