Issued between 1961-62, this early version has a bright mid red and black finish, yellow interior, fine and unfaded ‘Birmingham – London Motorway Express’ paper labels and shining flat spun wheels.
A few little chips on the roof. Complete ‘Midland Red’ labels on both sides (minor wear). No destination board label above the cab. Complete ‘Midland Red’ logos on both sides. ’LONDON; destination label is fine head-on too.
The early lift-off lid box is complete and vividly-coloured,. Very small corner scuff. Corgi Club Membership Form.
