Notes
A classic Dinky model. Vibrant original red paint finish throughout, gleaming silver two-piece ladder (some rubbing) and shiny bells on the roof.
Early issue with deeper grey reel and hose details. Correct without window glazing.
Shiny base and grey original treaded tyres (one has the merest suggestion of a flat spot).
This fire engine has a couple of the usual unavoidable marks at the raised points where the ladders rest and a little edge chipping toward the rear/at the rear , mostly on one side.
The striped, dual-numbered ‘Dinky Toys’ box is very bright and clean. Shiny staples. Minor wear and small penned writing at an end flap.
None of the usual fading – especially noteworthy is the vivid colour of the base.
