Notes
Issued between 1962-68, this off-white ambulance with a light blue interior is a scarce variation with large spun wheels (usual version has smaller ‘dished’ wheels). This example also comes complete with stretcher and patient, both seated figures, intact delicate roof beacon and siren. ‘Ambulance’ window sign is intact on both sides. Suspension. Gloss black baseplate.
A little (box) rubbing to the red stripe at the sides and a couple of minor marks to the paint.
The box is brightly-coloured and complete. A little edge ruffling at an end flap. Not often found with the yellow card packing ring too!
