Notes
First issue (1966-69) in the range of transit vans produced by Dinky in various colour finishes and liveries. This example is in very close to mint condition in vivid yellow, with red interior, and a sliding side door, opening rear doors. Scarce deep brown base. Complete ‘HERTZ TRUCK RENTAL’ labels on both sides and at the rear opening doors; looks day-one fresh! Original ‘H’ registration plates front and rear. Detailed wheels. As-new original tyres.
Little casting mark on the bonnet.
The colourful pictorial end flap box is crisp, fresh and clean. Hard to find these late card boxes in good condition since the van is heavy in comparison to the relatively flimsy card box. Lightest age wear.
