Notes

Originally purchased by the owner from a collector who enjoyed touring toy shops in the mid 60’s & early ’70’s buying models that appealed to him. If he could find a bargain then he would buy multiple examples of the same item. His collection comprises Dinky, Corgi and several Spot-On models.

Issued between 1965-70. In metallic emerald green finish, with white shutter doors, red plastic hubs, red interior. Complete ‘Castrol Labels’ look fresh, clean and bright with barely any of the usual age transparency which plagues these models.

Matte black base and fine original tyres. Couple of tiny marks to the paint finish and a small thin paint miss at a side bottom edge.
In very close to mint condition.
The colourful and detailed lift-off lid picture box is vividly-coloured, with minor age grubbiness, mostly on box underside.
