The owner tells us:
All of the models from The Smith Collection were bought by the same young boy on a weekly basis when they were released, and kept by the same collector unplayed with and in many cases never taken out of their boxes, right up until the present day. Rather unusual for a lad to buy toys and not play with them but he was a collector from a very young age!
A bright mid-blue finish and a vivid red interior on this Mini made between 1960-68 in various colour finishes. Suspension on shiny flat spun wheels. Original, well-shaped tyres.
Early baseplate:
Few little marks at a headlight, three little marks on a roof side edge. Couple of bumper marks.
The picture box complete, crisp and tear-free. Light wear only and a period price label. Corgi Club Membership Form.
