Now here’s a Dinky curiosity – surely a factory oversight at the time, but now a recognised ‘variation’ this RAC Mini Van has ‘ROAD ROAD’ transfers on the rear doors, rather than the regular ‘ROAD SERVICE’ transfers!
Attractive vivid blue and white original paint finish with a bright red detailed interior and shiny spun wheels. A little minor wear to some of the transfers (occasional little edge nick/rub), and a few little marks to the paint finish on one side at some raised body lines. Crisp white roof is happily free of the usual chips or rubs!
The red and yellow picture box is wonderfully crisp and vibrant; looks really fresh and clean. Virtually shop-fresh!
Nice to see this model comes complete with the little card packing ring which fits over the roof sign (so often discarded).
