D194
Dinky 194 Bentley Coupe. Rare SOUTH AFRICAN issue in CREAM. Very, very near mint/boxed. Superb example.
Notes
Hard to find in any condition – we are delighted to have this rare South African Dinky model for sale! Unfinished models were exported to South Africa from 1966. They were sent as castings and painted and assembled there, largely as a way of getting around the laws prohibiting export of finished goods to South Africa at this time. All housed in Dinky boxes with some Afrikaans text and of course most importantly the Arthur E.Harris print on the box.
Finished in an attractive gleaming deep cream with red seating, driver. Shiny spun wheels, bright chrome, gloss base (few rust spots), South African rivets, and as-new fine tread tyres.
In very close to mint, original condition:
The correct Arthur E. Harris Dinky box is clean, complete and brightly-coloured.
Couple of minor end flap tears. Minor wear besides.
One of the rarest Dinky models.
