Notes
A charming classic Dinky agricultural pairing presented in the early 27AK box. Issued during February 1953 ( Dinky stamp inside the box lid).
This set comprises:
a) D300 Massey-Harris Tractor in vivid cherry red and yellow finish with metal wheels. Complete with both metal stacks, steering wheel and driver. A keen eye will note a couple of little marks on the driver and tiny area of polish reside on the radiator grille.
b) D324 Hay Rake in matching colours with nicely shaped undamaged shiny metal combs. In very near mint condition with a few near-obligatory marks on the tow ring. Note that 27K Dinky number is cast on the base.
The early issue box is very bright, fresh and clean – looking very fresh! Very minor age wear only. Hudson Dobson Export Label in yellow at a lid side. Period FAO Schwarz period price label at a short lid end.
Card packing piece is still present and thankfully tear-free.
