There are lots of colour versions of this popular Dinky toy!
This version is more difficult to find than the standard tan and green. It has a mid chocolate brown cab and chassis, green back, red hubs, white lettering. In close to mint, all original condition, complete with a working tow hook. Bright winding handle, including the metal cuff. Bright baseplate (small rubbed area) and axles, too. Original smooth ballon tyres.
A very few minor marks and a small bloomed area on one side of the green back.
Complete ‘DINKY SERVICE’ white lettering on both sides.
The sturdy orange card box with paper label is bright, fresh and very clean. Factory Stamp ‘G’ on one side of the base.
A little minor age wear only. Note the fresh, clean and bright Hudson Dobson export label on one side of the lid. Always a welcome sight – period FAO Schwarz New York Price Label at one short lid end.
Scarce colour version in a great box with desirable period labels.
