C264
Corgi 264 Oldsmobile Toronado. Near mint plus/boxed. Peacock blue issue. With SPUN WHEELS. Scarce. From The Berlin Collection.
Notes
Issued 1966-69, in a striking metallic peacock blue finish, and a difficult find with shaped spun wheels and suspension. Retractable jewelled headlights, detailed cream interior and a bright chrome steering wheel. This model was issued in various shades of greenish-blue – this version is a vibrant mid-shade. Wonderfully striking on display, especially with the retractable jewelled head and spot lights.
Grey base, with wheel for operating the headlight mechanism. Well-shaped original tyres.
In close to mint condition – note the hairline crack in one of the headlight covers. A few flecks to the bumper plating.
The box is strongly-coloured, clean and complete. Couple of the tiniest end flap tears! As-new feel to the card. Corgi Club Membership Form is included.
