D234
Dinky 234 Ferrari Racing Car. Very near mint/boxed. Scarce 'shark nose' version with yellow plastic wheels. From The Continental Collection.
Notes
A sought-after racing car from Dinky -this is the later “shark nose” version (yellow triangle at the front) which was issued for just one year only in 1964. *Yellow plastic wheels. In very close to mint condition, this model displays superbly with a wonderfully vibrant and lustrous original finish. Bright baseplate. Well-shaped, supple, original grey tyres ( happily free of the usual discolouration/yellowing).
Not even the near-obligatory chip on the driver’s head.
Complete R.N.5 transfers. Couple of negligible stray black flicks of paint on the nose of the vehicle. Hard to fault. Tiniest rub or two if your really examine extra-closely.
The correct for this late issue red and yellow box is complete and bright. Note the couple of punctures caused by the driver’s head.
