This is an eye-catching, bright red and yellow Leyland Comet Truck issued between 1949-54:
Shiny base with ‘DINKY SUPERTOYS’ cast.
In all original condition with just a couple of little marks to the yellow sides. Light wear to the finish on the bed. Occasional light flat spot on the original grey tyres.
The powder blue box with a red picture label is strongly-coloured, complete and split-free. Light age/handling grubbiness, and tiny edge nibbling to the label.
Shopkeeper’s period pencilled price of 5/-.
