Notes

There were lots of colour versions of this popular Dinky toy!
This version has a light tan cab, mid-green back, red hubs, black lettering, well-shaped smooth black tyres. An unplayed with example in very close to mint condition, complete with a working tow hook. Perfect ‘DINKY SERVICE’ lettering in black on both sides, brass winding handle and minor ‘spidering’ on the baseplate.
Presents well.

None of the usual marks on the tinplate jib. We noted a few negligible marks only.
The dual-numbered striped ‘DINKY TOYS’ box is fresh, clean and bright with only the most minor wear. Dated 1954 on the inside of the box lid. Tiny wear only. Complete ‘Hudson Dobson’ U.S. export label at one side of the lid is both clean and vividly-coloured.
