Notes
We are delighted to offer this exceptional James Bond Mustang model for sale. A sought-after Corgi model in superb unused condition and with one owner from new. Issued for one year only (1972) to co-incide with the ‘Diamonds are Forever’ film release.
The model has a striking deep vibrant red and black finish. High shine finish to the paint showing that this model has barely been handled, or indeed taken out of its crisp box.
One tiny factory paint miss at the passenger door frame and another at a wheel arch (being extra-fussy here!). One small chip at the bonnet edge and a near-microscopic rub!
The box is particularly noteworthy. The all-important paper label at the front of the box nearly always has some wear, peeling etc. – this one is absolutely clean, bright and undamaged.
The rest of the box is equally clean, crisp and bright with vibrant colours and smooth original cellophane which has unfortunately one small slit. Shopkeeper’s price label is still attached.
A fine example of this sought after Corgi model, rarely found in this condition.
