Notes
A scarce early first issue commercial truck in grey with a black chassis and wings. Correct early version without triangular lugs at the sides of the number plate. In all original condition:
Small unpainted hook. Balloon tyres and black ridged wheels. No rust at axles or spare wheel fixing. ‘20 mph’ transfer still in place on the tailboard.
Smooth tyres are the originals – one has some age wear (surface ‘crazing’).
A little chipping at two wheel arches. Couple of barely visible marks besides.
Correct early issue plain brown card box has a bright paper label ( little edge wear, and the owner has written his name quite neatly in ink).
Minor age/handling wear includes creasing at one lid end and a small seam tear. Correct colour spot at a lid end.
A beautiful classic Dinky display truck.
