Notes
This truck has the distinctive mid-blue cab and chassis, (more usual finish is violet blue), vivid cherry red back, mid-blue ridged hubs. Large painted hook. Second type cab so this model has triangular lugs at either side of the front number plate. Rivetted base.
In original condition throughout, with the occasioanl negligible mark and the usual scuff to the paint on the tow hook.
The yellow picture box is strongly-coloured and complete. Lid has a seam split. Shelf (rubbing) wear to the box base. Penned shop prices at one end of the lid and on the top surface. Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this particular example from March, 1956.
