Rare 1st issue example made between 1949-54 with no triangular lugs next to the number plate, early ridged wheels, and rear axle fixed by tin clips. Large unpainted hook.
The first we have ever offered for sale in this dull orange and lighter mid-green finish, with mid- green ridged (not grooved Supertoy) wheels.
Bolt fixing and DINKY SUPERTOYS on the base. Spare wheel.
Presents well although close inspection reveals a few little dot retouches on the roof.
The deep blue box with picture label is complete, bright and clean. A little minor wear and period prices on the lid.
