N195
Nicky (Dinky) 195 Jaguar 3.4 MK II. Rare issue. Bright YELLOW. Very near mint/boxed. From The Compton Collection.
Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This Jaguar model is in all original condition with an eye-catching bright yellow finish, fine silver trim, black gloss base with ‘Dinky Toys’ and Jaguar lettering visible. One-piece black and silver plastic wheels and tyres.
Small casting mark on the bonnet and a few negligible dots besides.
The card box is better than most Nicky Toys boxes you will find!
A fascinating piece of Dinky history and well worth incorporating into your collection, these modes have seen significant value increases over the past couple of years.
