Notes

The sought-after set comprises:

1) Corgi 318 Mini Cooper ‘S’ in bright red finish with a white roof, jewelled head and spotlights, complete racing number ‘52’ on both sides. ‘Monte Carlo’ bonnet label has a couple of typical little nicks to the central section where it covers the bonnet centre line. Boot transfer is complete. Shiny shaped spun wheels with suspension and well-shaped original tyres. In close to mint condition.

2)Corgi 322 Rover 2000 in shining metallic maroon finish with a white roof, complete Monte Carlo labels on bonnet and boot, and complete racing number ‘136’ on both doors. Shaped spun wheels with suspension and well-shaped original tyres. Jewelled headlights and “Trans-O-Lite” lights. In very near mint condition.

3) Corgi 323 Citroen DS19 in pale blue finish with a white roof. Shaped spun wheels with suspension, jewelled lights, intact aerial on the roof. Complete racing number ‘75’ on both sides, Rally labels on bonnet and boot are intact. Little stray (factory) dot of silver on the bonnet.

The attractively illustrated card plinth on which each car sits is bright and complete. Minor age wear and a very small tear emanating from a wheel slot. Note that all of the wheel slots still have the push-out pieces in situ. Plain card piece is still included which supports the plinth, so largely preventing wheel slot wear.

The outer box is included although worn now with area of surface loss at an end flap.
It comes with a card rectangular packing piece and 2 of the 3 individual card pieces.
