Notes
An eye-catching Ford ‘SNCF’ model finished in bright mid-blue with a darker blue tinplate tilt. Complete detailed transfers “Socièté National Des Chemins De Fer Francais” on both sides (save for one tiny mark to one letter on one side), black ridged wheels, ‘M’ embossed tyres, bright button-ended axles. 2nd issue with a separate tow hook.
A wonderful model on display.
Pleasing lustre to the all original paint finish. Undented tinplate tilt.
Barely a mark to the paint finish but note that the casting is rather rough in places.
Never individually boxed, but sold from a shopkeeper’s trade box.
