C211
Corgi 211 Studebaker Golden Hawk. Near mint plus/boxed. Scarce NON-SUSPENSION version. From a dedicated Corgi Collector in The Home Counties, England.
Notes
A difficult find (only the second we have ever offered for sale), this non-suspension version is finished in* white with gold rear fins*, flat spun wheels, nice silver trim, grey base.
The owner says:
“When the 211M models were discontinued in 1959, some left-over painted body shells were fitted with the 211S bases, put in standard 211 boxes and sold abroad. This one was purchased from Mexico”.
Such an eye-catching finish! Small paint blemish at a gold fin and a few little bumper marks. In honest, all original condition.
The blue picture box is bright and complete. Crisp feel. Minor wear only.
