Notes
Late issue in vivid green and yellow finish, red diecast hubs, green band above the radiator. This is a sought-after Dinky commercial truck and an eye-catching example on display.
Painstakingly examined for retouches – we are pleased to say that this high profile Dinky Truck has none, unless you count the casual factory dab of paint at one cab side.
Retaining its day one lustre, with bright metal parts.
Barely any of the usual wear at tow hook.
Occasional negligible mark. Well-shaped original tyres.
The striped Supertoys box is bright, and clean. Note the DINKY SUPERTOYS italicised print. None of the usual shelf rubbing to the deep blue base underside. U.S period price label and handwritten date (8/25/64) on the inside of lid and base.Area of surface loss at one corner and a seam split.
