Purchased on one of his many forays in the U.S., this ACL Mack Container Truck has additional labels at cab sides. The first we have ever seen!
Issued 1971-73.
This Mack Truck and Trailer has a vibrant orange cab with a black, orange and silver trailer. Complete ‘TRANS -CONTINENTAL’ lettering and logo on both sliding doors of the trailer.
Detailed cast wheels and fine original tyres. Intact black plastic opening rear doors.
Small spot of blistered paint at a cab wheel arch rim. Note the period U.S. price on the underside.
Early blue and yellow window box is clean and brightly-coloured.
Intact original cellophane. Polystyrene packing pieces at end flaps and another piece runs the length of the base. Intact card plinth. Repaired tear at an end flap. Light wear besides.
