D104
Dinky 104 Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle. Very near mint/boxed (wear). 1st issue in card box with 2 firing rockets. With Instruction Leaflet. From an old shop stock find in Yorkshire.
Notes
This Gerry Anderson model inspired by the t.v. series ‘Captain Scarlet & The Mysterons’ is in all original condition with no reproduced parts or repainting.
This early version (without white plastic top to the roof button) has a fine metallic blue finish, complete with original figure of Captain Scarlet and firing front rocket (2 included). All in working order! This example has complete paper labels. Eye-catching transfers at the sides have a tiny edge nick. Nice example with perfect black rubber tracks and aerials.
Couple of little chips.
The brightly-coloured pictorial inner card plinth is an excellent backdrop for the model. Vivid card, although note the wheel slot tears.
Little tear at wheel slots and a small crumple.
Instruction Leaflet is still present.
Large pictorial outer box is complete and brightly coloured. Storage crumpling and wear and tear at end flaps. Period price label at an end flap.
An exciting item to add to your collection and a real nostalgic treat!
